About

Good morning to my readers!
Thank you for “landing” on my website.
It brings me great excitement and joy to welcome you to my beloved little nest, located above the rooftops of Venice in the Castello district. Venice is in my DNA and I grew up experiencing and contemplating its beauty. How could I not share it with the world?
I was born to a German mother and a Venetian father. My dad, now 91 years old, was once a proud gondolier and his work allowed him to elegantly accompany tourists along the Venetian canals and waterways providing an authentic way to enjoy the beauty of this wonderful city.
Once upon a time, in order to be a gondolier, you had to be the son of a gondolier. Hence, the history and culture of the city was passed down from generation to generation.
Many years ago, after moving to the mainland, my parents bought this small apartment as a pied-a-terre, because it is simply not possible to live fully away from Venice even after you have left.

Five years ago, I decided to completely restore the apartment and equip it with all the necessary amenities so that my beloved guests would be able to enjoy the beauty of this city from a privileged viewpoint.
Many guests decide to return once they have stayed here, because they love Acqua Attico but also because of its great location.
I always recommend shops where you can buy fresh fish, local vegetables, and freshly baked bread.
This quaint, every-day Venice still exists and I want my guests to be able to experience it while keeping away from the overcrowded tourist routes.
However, a short walk through history and tradition is all that is required to reach the city center.

☺Отличная квартира в удобной локации. Чисто идеально, все есть даже халаты нас приятно удивило. Замечательная хозяйка Сузанна. Благодаря её душевному приёму наш последний аккорд отпуска в Италии прозвучал так красиво. Мы очень благодарны лично Сузанне за такой тёплый  приём и помощь. Мы забыли ключи в квартире так она лично приехала из Тривезо и помогла нам.

 10Verified ☺Die Lage ist ideal um die Biennale zu besuchen. Der Blick auf's Wasserist wirklich schön! Es war ruhig und sehr sauber und ich habe meinen Aufenthalt dort sehr genossen. Die Gastgeberin ist außerordentlich nett!!

☹Die Treppe rauf zum Apartment ist wie üblich in Venedig sehr steil. Für mich war das kein Problem, könnte für ältere oder gehbehinterte Menschen schwierig sein.

☺Susanna die Gastgeberin ist sehr nett, fürsorglich und hilfsbereit. Sie hat uns liebevoll empfangen. Frisches Obst und Blumen standen für unsere Ankunft bereits am Tisch. Die Lage der Unterkunft ist sehr Zentral und alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut zu erreichen. Für uns war alles perfekt und wie verbrachten wundervolle Tage in Venedig. Leider gibt es für die Bewertung nur maximal 10 Punkte zu vergeben, was eindeutig zu wenig ist.

 10Verified Everything I was hoping for to see Venice for the first time!

☺Amazing spot if you are a solo traveler (or even if you aren’t)! Susanna did everything possible to make her place feel like a home for the guests. It looks EXACTLY how the pictures do and comes with everything it says. It is a 5 minute walk from the Arsenale Vaporetta station which makes traveling from the airport and around the island so easy! As a solo female I felt so safe and had absolutely no issues. It is also conveniently located with so many restaurants, bars, etc. quite literally right downstairs. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

☹Absolutely nothing! Susanna made sure the house was sparkling clean and welcoming as soon as I got there. She even met me at the Vaporetta stop and carried my luggage. 10 star views, host and home!

Nur wenige Schritte von der Vaporettostation Arsenale, liegt diese traumhaft schöne Wohnung. Susanna, die Gastgeberin hat uns an der Vaporettostation sehr herzlich empfangen und uns mit wichtigen Informationen versorgt. Die Wohnung ist sehr gemütlich und sehr gut ausgestattet. Umwerfend schön ist der Blick von den Balkonen auf die Lagune. Blumen, Obstkorb, Prosecco und viel Kunst tragen zum Wohlfühlen bei. In der Straße findet man viele Geschäfte und Restaurants.

 10Verified Wunderschönes Apartment, perfekte Ausstattung und Susannas herzliche Gastfreundschaft

☺Wir waren nun schon mehrfach in diesem wunderschönen Apartment in Venedig und sind jedes Mal aufs Neue begeistert. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir die außergewöhnliche Gastfreundschaft von Susanna – man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an herzlich willkommen und bestens betreut.

Das Apartment ist liebevoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und bestens ausgestattet. Es fehlt wirklich an nichts, was man für einen rundum gelungenen Aufenthalt in Venedig braucht. Die Lage ist ebenfalls ideal, um die Stadt entspannt zu erkunden und gleichzeitig einen ruhigen Rückzugsort zu haben.

Für uns ist es jedes Mal wie „nach Hause kommen“ – wir freuen uns jetzt schon auf unseren nächsten Aufenthalt!

 10Verified ☺The location, at only 15min walk from Piazza San, and the cleanliness of the place were outstanding.
But what really provided a 10 out of 10 experience was the host. She was always attentive, with really good personal details in the property, making it the best experience we ever had in an accommmodation.

 10Verified ☺Das Appartment ist liebevoll und hochwertig gestaltet. Alles was man braucht ist vorhanden. Die Küche lädt zum Kochen ein, auch wenn es viele schöne kleine Restaurants, Cafés oder Barmöglichkeiten unmittelbar in der Umgebung gibt. Supermarkt ca.4min Fussweg. Sehr zentral zu allen Highlights und doch ruhig gelegen. Der Blick zum Canal Grande lockt.. Die Fotos sind sehr aussagekräftig und unterstützen vollständig den Eindruck. Danke Susanna für das persönliche Abholen am Vaporetto und herzlichen "Willkommen heißen". Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen gern wieder.

 10Verified Bezaubernde Wohnung mit Ausblick

☺Es gab nur Superlative!
Susanna ist eine fürsorgliche, herzliche Gastgeberin. Abholung von der Vaporetto Haltestelle, Obstkorb auf dem Tisch. Sie ist auf Sonderwünsche eingegangen, wir haben Tips und Empfehlungen von ihr bekommen. Wir fühlten uns so willkommen ! 12 Sterne!!!
Die Lage ist top, Küche toll ausgestattet, Bad, Wohn- und Schlafzimmer ebenso. Die beiden Balkone sind herrlich, Blick über die Dächer aufs Wasser, in die Via Garibaldi, oder zurm Lido. 
Zentral gelegen, ist man überall in der Stadt schnell, entweder zu Fuß oder mit dem Vaporetto. Geschäfte, Bars, Restaurants, alles in nächster Nähe. 
Für meine Schwester und mich waren es herrlich enspannte Tage.
